What is HENSYTT?

About 2 years ago, Pysselnabon and Cirkus Karlsson started a pattern journey together with the retro dress Majken and it was true pattern-making joy at first glance!

Pretty soon we realized we shared a common dream. A dream of creating clothes for childre to be children in. Clothes that can withstand playing, climbing, sneaking, eels, cozying up and fooling around in. Clothes that are comfortable, play-friendly and adapted to children’s activities and movement patterns, but at the same time follow the fashion and trends of the time.

Being a child also means getting to explore all your interests and possibilities and not being limited. It has therefore been important to us that our sewing patterns can, to the greatest extent possible, be sewn for all children regardless of gender and in this way give children 100 possibilities instead of just two. Many of our designs therefore have a clear unisex style and are designed to be worn by children – not for small versions of adults.

Finally, an important part of our vision for sewing patterns for children is that anyone should be able to sew them – both the very new seamstress and the very experienced seamstress. We put all of this together into the concept HENSYTT.

Our first book was released in February 2022, but that was just the beginning. With book number two ”𝐈 𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐤𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐘𝐓𝐓. 𝐒𝐲 𝐡ö𝐬𝐭- 𝐨𝐜𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐥ä𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐟ö𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐢” we now take the next step on our lovely sewing journey, where we step by step hope to make the world a little mischievous, a little more child-friendly, and above all a little more colorful! We are incredibly excited to share it with you!
